Hope For Tanzania Orphans, Widows & Poor

Love in Action – Empowering the needy through Joy in the Harvest:

We partner with Joy in the Harvest, and believe in living out love by reaching out to those in dire circumstances, including the sick, the poor, the hungry, and the dying. Following the compassionate example, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those who are suffering including orphans.

Our Initiatives:
Feeding Center of Hope: For many years, our Feeding Center has been a beacon of hope for those facing hunger and despair. We extend a helping hand to street children and orphans, many of whom have lost their parents to the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS. Providing nutritious hot meals three times a week, we have served over 350 people and offered more than 54,000 meals annually, nourishing children that desperately need it.

Holistic Medical Care: Recognizing the importance of health and well-being, we have partnered with a Tanzanian doctor to offer medical care right at our Feeding Center. Our dedicated medical team addresses wounds, infections, and various diseases, ensuring that the orphans and most vulnerable receive the care they need. Additionally, we provide essential vitamin supplementation and medication for parasites, contributing to a healthier community.

Fighting HIV/AIDS: For the past decade, we have taken a proactive stance in HIV/AIDS education and prevention in the Kigoma area. Our annual soccer tournament brings together 36 teams, engaging nearly 1,000 young men. To participate, all players and coaches attend a government-approved HIV/AIDS informational lecture, spreading awareness and knowledge about the disease. The proceeds from the tournament’s final championship game are matched by Joy in the Harvest and directed towards projects assisting AIDS victims, making a significant impact on their lives. If we can help prevent aids we can slow the population of street children and orphans in Kigoma Tanzania.

Join Hands with Love:
At Joy in the Harvest, we firmly believe that love knows no boundaries. By working together with a spirit of compassion and empathy, we can create transformative change in the lives of the less fortunate. Join us in our mission to bring hope, healing, and love to those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference and be a source of joy in the harvest for life’s challenges.
